3. One Young World ID:
• Founders: Kate Robertson and David Jones from
Havas media agency in London.
• OYW gathers amazing youth, aged 18-30.
• 1200 participants from 190+ countries annually.
• Only Olympic Games gather more delegations.
• OYW host cities: London 2010, Zurich 2011,
Pittsburg 2012, Johannesburg 2013, Dublin 2014

4. How can OYW inspire us:
• 18-30 olds understand and use new media.

5. OYW consists of:
• The annual summit in the city which won the bid
and gathers youth, counselors, companies, NGOs.
• The database of outstanding youth doing projects
and working in the world-renowned companies.
• The Global Consultation Process with counselors.
• Regional events and new Delegates’ initiatives.
• Tools for fundraising, start-ups, negotiation skills.
• Competitions for financing start-ups, projects.

6. How to get involved?
• As a Delegate – your participation is self-funded or
OYW, companies, and individuals help you.
• As an Ambassador/ Returning Ambassador – you
attend Summit again, you start projects, you lead.
• As a company representative – you scout for talent.
• As a media representative – you find a story.
• As an Ambassador’s friend/colleague/supporter –
you participate in projects and improve community.
