3. Establishing shots
β’ These shots were taken at Westminster
bridge.
β’ As camera man I wanted to take a shot which
focuses on the whole of these two famous
pieces of London culture. This allows the
audience to make a straight link between
London and our trailer, which tells the
audience where it was set.
5. Establishing shot
β’ When shooting this for effect I constantly
went in and out of focus. This was done to
bring effect.
β’ It also allows a brief moment for he audience
to guess what the location is.
7. Working with the director
β’ The role of the camera man is to bring to life
the vision of the director.
β’ Me and the director worked very closely in
order to put this trailer to life.
β’ This meant looking through the storyboard
and putting it into moving pictures.
9. Working with the actors
β’ As camera man I had to work with the actors
and make sure they were comfortable when
shooting for the trailer.
β’ I also had to instruct the actors along with the
director to make sure we had the best quality
we can get.
11. Finding good shots
β’ To find get the best shot I experienced with
angles. I done this by laying on my back and
climbing on buildings. I done this to get the
best shots and the best representations.
β’ By climbing on buildings it made me get the
height which shows lower status and laying
on my back shows one of higher status.
