The interview is of a student who just jumped from his school life to his college life.
I have interviewed him about new experience of his college life and about challenges he
faced socially and personally.
Q1. Being a North Indian there innumberable of challenges that an individual can face
based on language language and religion. How will you narrow this gap about
linguistic and religious barrier?
Ans “There are people who are not willing to talk in mutual language that both people
are comfortable with. They just keep speaking their local language that you
don’t understand and just keep on making fun of you.they are just very rigid to
their mothertongue”
“And second religion. I am a SIKH and I wear a turban. They usually not see
people like me.when they see a person like me they say “OH MY GOD “
who this person is and this really makes me uncomfortable.
so, we can narrow our gap by actually communicating with the people and
share each others ideas, views ,beliefs and their language.”
Q2. You have always lived in your family environment and you are not accustomed to
your hostel-life.How do you perceive your life-style at hostel and how do you
find night-life at hostel?
Ans. “Exciting.very exciting life at hostel.People find it really hard to adapt to it at first
place because they are very attached to their families and the separation breaks
them apart. But it is just a matter of time that they find out good friend and
for it a person should be ambivert like me”
Q3. It is always tough or we say ligid to find right kind of people and even if we find
some we can not have that sense of attachment or rely on them fully. How do
you network yourself?
Ans. “Well the sense of attachment and most probably trust comes over time and
we have to find someone and giving our relationship some time so that you
can see how they react to your situation and they feel about you or you feel
about them.”
2. Q4. Does your academic ups and down affect your personal life?
Ans. “Academics ups and down leave people numb. Some people are able to
recover and some are not.So, yes it affects their personal lives. But for me
my parents always supported me for whatever grades I have got in my
academics.”
Q5. Do you take responsibility as a stress or a passion?
Ans. “I take it as a motivation. Because I have responsibilities towards my family
and my society. Now , I know that their will be continuous ups and down
but I have to reach a certain goal where I can be happy and make my
family happy”
Q6. If you are to summarize yourself in three words what they will be ?
Ans. “ I am awesome”.
Q7. Sometimes there are undue rifts between individuals. How do you cope-up
With such situation?
Ans. “ If there are undue rifts due to me than I will interact with people and try to
find out what went wrong from his side or my side. When I am the third
party I would just sat with popcorn and enjoy the show”
