Great tutorial by the way. Are you planning

Why a wiki, easily to update, can embed information quickly, open to alumni and others to comment and contribute knowledge and ideas.
Students picked their own assignments and completed the wiki assignment, they also matched names with avatars to make the identification of the students easier since SL doesn’t use real names.
You always have one student who works ahead or who is “pushing” the boundaries of what the class was designed to teach. Leverage his or her knowledge by having them constructively contribute to the rest of the class.
Students can view each other’s assignments and learn from one another in addition to the instructor.
Wiki’s allow for discussions in addition to content being posted. Provides students an opportunity to share articles and other things they find with each other.
An alumni commented on the web site.
The blogosphere community began to comment on the web postings of myself and the students, they started providing input and shaping the class. The student’s work was now being judged by people other than the instructor. The walls of the classroom were torn down for total transparency.
