1. Technology as a distraction Kaitlin Cherry July 1st, 2010 Instead of doing the task at hand, it is much easier to entertain oneself with the endless possibilities that technology has to offer.

6. Thesis Technology is something that consumes our lives and is advancing as we speak; but with these advances in technology we have become reliant with the idea that we need constant entertainment which makes doing the simplest tasks nearly impossible to complete.

7. Working White light- draws in the audience and is the most captivating, ironically those are the items that are distracting her from her work (laptop/TV) Logic- all tried to work on homework and been distracted

8. Reading Focus is around her with her Kindle everything is blurred out even though those are more important (simple) task Emotion- feel the distraction that she is faced with by having technology makes it relatable to audience

9. Driving Again the emphasis is the white which is the technology Morality- being distracted with technology during driving can lead to deaths

10. Hanging Out Distracts us from our friends, isolating one another on couch Both focused on technology Emotion- everyone enjoys hanging out with their friends but with technology we are growing apart
