1. Representation of the young and urban audience we are primarily targeting Primary target audience as a whole will be British as British culture is used mainly in the film Most of our primary target audience will be from London as our film is set in London Target Audience Profile Representation of the young audience we’re targeting and also the interests of that particular audience Representation of our young target audience and that we are primarily targeting young adults in some form of education Our primary target audience should be between the ages of 15 and 25 Primary target audience are of the working class and financially stable (household) Our primary audience should be regular cinema-goers Our primary target audience should have a interest in horror movies Our primary target audience are both men and women

2. This shows a representation of our primary target audience who we want to be young British students from a working class background who are really embraced in British teenage culture and have a good interest in horror. However as with all movies you want to have as much of a wide target audience as you can and so although our film is targeted at young adults still in education, themes are still present that a older audience (perhaps a teacher or former student) can relate to as we have included universal themes.

3. How we plan to satisfy the uses and gratifications. In order to completely satisfy our audiences we must ensure that we try and apply the uses and gratifications theory appropriately to our film. One way we have applied this theory is by personal identification as many of the themes in our movie such as success vs. ambition, fear of failure and general school life in general is something our target audience will be able to identify with and as a result will be able to really relate with our film We have also applied it through diversion as the entertaining element of our film which I to be made with the goal of entertaining our target audience will help divert and escape from the stresses of life by watching our movie. The fact the movie is based around something our target audience are all going through (exam stress) is also refreshing for our audience as they’re seeing that it is a universal problem that is and has affected everyone. We also plan to do this in terms of surveillance in which we plan to show information of what is currently going on in the world, impending exams being one of them and the stress it causes on students. This also links to current problems in the world today such as student finance, shortage of university places etc. The final way is through Social Interaction in which are movie will enable people to find a common connection with society. Certain themes out in our movie we hope cause discussion which brings people together to discuss together, thus gratifying their social needs.
