A best selling illustrator, Nancy
Devard is a Temple
University graduate and former
Development Engineer.

Bay Area native, Tanita Davis
currently lives in Glasgow, Scotland.
She finds inspiration by listening
to the world around her.

Greg Neri is a teen fiction writer. He
has written, produced, and directed
an independent feature film called
A Weekend with Barbara and Ingrid.

In 2003, Randy DuBurke was awarded
the Coretta Scott King/John Steptoe
award. Having lived in Georgia and
New York, DuBurke currently
lives in Switzerland.

Teacher at Cass Tech.Children’s Lit authors see Dana Davidson as a trailblazer. Her first novel, Jason and Kyra, was one of the first romance novels to feature middle-class African-American characters. Played, takes a unique look at the influence of underground high school fraternities.
Talks about his excitement of seeing his first book March On on the shelf of Barnes and Nobles…went home to get camera to have his picture taken.
First book was Saturday at the New You (1994). She also loves sports and the character in Allle’s Basketball Dream (1996) is based on herself.
Came on scene few years ago…has illustrated several books. He says it can take him any where from 6 months to 2 years to illustrate a book. Can work on 2 or 3 books at a time.
