Waun Wen Primary School in Swansea, Wales won a bronze award from the Swansea Sustainable Schools scheme for their commitment to improving environmental standards. The school teaches pupils about environmental issues and sustainability. They have planted daffodil bulbs in their gardens, and once the daffodils bloom they will plant vegetables. Junior classes had a recycling workshop to learn about reducing, reusing, and recycling materials, and the importance of the 5 Rs for the environment.
