    • Brain window shows epidural hemorrhage and brain contusion of right temporal lobe;
    • Bone window shows fracture of left temporal bone.
  • M, 1y/o with trauma. CT: Brain window: normal Bone window: right parietal bone fracture (obvious on coronary view)
  • M, 11y/o after trauma. CT: Left temporal bone fracture with intracranial gas.
    • M, 52y/o with trauma.
    • CT:
    • Brain contusion of right frontal and temporal lobe with subdural effusion.
    • Bone window: normal on these 2 slices but shows left temporal bone fracture on inferior slices.
  • M, 23y/o after trauma CT shows bilateral subdural hemorrhage, no fracture is found on bone window
  • M, 6 y/o after trauma CT shows epidural hemorrhage on the right, no fracture is found on bone window
