The Importance
of Sales Training
Frank Cardia is the co-founder and managing partner of
Augurey Ventures, a private equity company. Over his 27
year career in finance, Frank Cardia has helped facilitate
over $1 billion in venture capital deals. Among other things,
Frank Cardia's focus is team building and sales training in the
consulting business.
Sales training is the act of enhancing seller skills, expertise,
and abilities through workshops or courses. This training is
important for several reasons. Sales training assists managers
in identifying the underlying cause of client business problems
and providing answers that meet their needs. It also serves to
build client trust and place them as thought leaders.
Sales training and mentoring are critical for businesses to
effectively implement their development strategy and
advance to the next level, especially in technological
advancements that require companies to engage with
consumers rapidly and provide fast answers and pre-sales
support.
A company's sales team can complete more transactions
and get more prominent clients when they undergo sales
training. When sales representatives refine their skills, they
acquire the courage to perform more duties and become
more adept at completing transactions.
