1.Purpose of the program
This ESL Teacher Training Program by Tacoma Public Schools is intended
for individuals who plan to teach English or is now teaching English to young
learners. It has been designed to provide the essential foundations in language
teaching theory, methodology and practical classroom application. This program
can be complemented with passing online course and finishing “Self-Recording”www.ELcoreGlobal.net11

B. Make Your “Self-Recording”
Once you pass the online course, you become qualified
for the “Self-Recording. “Self-Recording” is an on-line
training “5-10 minutes” by yourself thru Chroma - Key
that company provide.
After the program
After completing the program, the Certificate of Completion by Tacoma Public
Schools will be given. The certification will prove the professionalism of your
teaching knowledge when you apply for teaching jobs and will give you self-
confidence in your career.
2.Program Outline
A. Online Lesson: Teachers who register for the program will be given an ID and a
password to access to the online course. Each course has a PDF file of readings
which you can download. With the PDF files that you’ve downloaded, Enrollees
will be able to study the readings in more details and complete the exercises in
each online course.
