• AIM: To learn how to use a microscope

study them in detail.

This is the lens you look through. It magnifies the image 10X
Objective lenses:
These are used to make the object even larger.
Stage:
This is the platform where you place the slide to be looked at.
Mirror / Light:
This sends light through the object and into your eye.
Stage Clips:
These hold the slide in place
Focus control:
This moves the lenses up and down to give you a clearer picture.
Stand:
This keeps all the parts in the correct position
