2. Summary
• District has taken the new initiative for hosting their
important data at their own data centers at district level
also.
• Earlier data were hosted at rented portals like godaddy,
name.com….etc.
• These DC shall carry the contains for their applications
like – Mobile inspection, Prime Minister dream project –
Toilet portal, e-Shiksha, Digital Setu, Cyber Kitly, Digital
Village, Kisan Setu, Mamta Setu, etc..
3. Vision for Green Mini Data Center
• To facilitate Sabarkantha District Panchayat by "GREEN MINI DATA
CENTER" by improving/serving better for every day required
application. New servers allow for higher densities than ever before,
putting great strains on legacy cooling and power products. In
response, District Panchayat needs to intelligently allocate resources
to get the most from their data center infrastructure. Optimizing current
environment with the right cooling and power infrastructure will help to
reclaim precious capacity and may allow to delay or avoid altogether
the time and expense. GREEN Optimizing data center infrastructure
can achieve immediate results through increased capacity. This Mini
can save money through reduced CAPEX and OPEX costs towards
better ROI.
