The document outlines the management plan for Prosperity Bank's Learning Management System (LMS) provided by Blackboard. It details both internal and external operations and processes. Externally, Blackboard handles hosting and provides 24/7 support. Internally, instructional designers and IT staff will launch and manage the LMS, with defined roles and procedures. A task force will customize the LMS, import content, and test the system before its corporate rollout.

9. With the installation of Blackboard several standard roles are created and
available to be assigned to users.
System Roles: System roles control the administrative privileges
assigned to a user. This enables administrators to share administrative
privileges and functions with other users in Blackboard Learn.
Course and Organization Roles: Course and organization roles control
access to the content and tools within a course or organization.
Institution Roles: Institution roles control what brands, tabs, and
modules users see when they log in to Blackboard Learn
Custom Roles: Administrators can create custom roles by copying an
existing role and editing its properties and privileges. You can also
create a new, blank role and add privileges to it (Blackboard, Inc., 2014,
para. 1 - 4).
The Privileges Spreadsheet will be used for additional customization of
access included in the roles if needed. (See next slide).
