  • The first step was to invite Prof. Lessig in 2009.
  • Mori Art Museum challenged to use CC.
  • Exhibition: Ai Weiwei (2009.7.25-11.8)
  • First time MAM let audience take photos.
  • People enjoyed,
  • children enjoyed,
  • and Ai Weiwei himself enjoyed.
  • CC Japan drafted agreement between artist and museum.
  • Went through negotiation and reviews.
  • Notice at the entrance,
  • Notice in the gallery,
  • and prepared a paper handout.
  • Over 100 media covered this attempt.
  • MAM continues usage of CC since then.
  • When they cannot use the scheme,
