  • 10. Your options GCC: Global Course Connections (10-25 days) GIEU: Global Intercultural Experience for Undergraduates (3-4 weeks) Spring/Summer Language Program (6 weeks) MGAP: Michigan Global Academic Program (1-2 terms)
  • 11. GCC Global Course Connections 2-3Connections (GCC) Global Course weeks Take class during fall/winter term & go abroad to apply what you learn Highlights: -build relationships with U of M faculty members -take learning out of the classroom -small group of U-M students
  • 12. GIEU Global Intercultural Experience forUndergraduates 3-4 weeks Summer internship program Highlights: -build relationships with U of M faculty members -more fieldwork and hands-on -unique cultural exchange -small group of U-M students
  • 13. SSL Spring/Summer Language Program 6weeks French, Italian, Spanish Complete upper half of LSA Language Requirement or continue language study Highlights: -8 credits in one intensive term -homestays -classes by U-M faculty and at local universities and centers
  • 14. MGAP Michigan Global Academic Program 1-2 terms Take classes & establish a life in another country Highlights: -90 programs, 50 countries, 6 continents -more “traditional” study abroad experience -gain independence
