positions as financial reporting manager for Panalpina, Inc., and assistant division controller for World Fuel

operations.
Carlos was born in Peru and has lived in Peru, Bolivia, Holland and the U.S. He has worked extensively in Asia,
Europe and Latin America. Carlos is a graduate of the OneMBA, the Global Executive MBA at University of North
Carolina at Chapel Hill, an innovative global program in partnership with five premier business schools in Asia,
Latin America, Europe and the U.S. His graduate studies focused on Cross-Cultural Management and Global

and coaching to the bank’s affinity groups. Carlos joined Wachovia as the Vice President
Diversity Recruiting Strategy for the General Banking Group and later took the role of Executive Diversity
