2. Learner Analysis
I am teaching a Kindergarten class of 25 students. 15 of them
are girls and 10 are boys. Three of my students have slight ADHD,
but the rest do not have any documented behavioral or
learning problems. My students all are either visual or hands on
learners. I have learned that they all learn better during group
activities and while watching videos or singing songs.
3. Main Objective
My students will learn about the five senses, and will discover
how to differentiate between each sense and its use. My
students will use different methods to learn each different sense
(visual for sight, scents for smell, listening for hearing, differing
textures for touch, and school provided fruits ect. for taste). They
will learn the basics of senses by the end of one calendar weeks.
4. Day by Day Breakdown
Monday- Sight
Tuesday- Smell
Wednesday- Hearing
Thursday- Touch
Friday- Taste
5. Technology Usage
I will be using videos and songs to get my students interacting
with each other and the material. Each video and song will
highlight the senses so the children can focus on our topic. The
videos are fast paced and are enjoyable for my young students.
