boy and his uncle (BAD
HABITS)
T- is going to ask students
to sit in pairs or in groups
of three and discuss the
questions.
T- is going to write the
questions on the board so
students can follow the
sequence of events.
-Ss are going to
express their feelings
and tell what their
parents nag them
about their bad
habits.
- In pairs, or groups
students walk around
the class and
exchange information
with other groups and
categorize the bad
habits. Bad, worse
and the worst.
- This section of
the class will
enable Ss to test
their speaking
abilities.

activity (Plot)
15 min -T is going to show what
these inferences are
important when it comes to
a topic they know or
nothing at all.
T is going to give students
pieces of information about
the video and each part of
a story (plot, character,
traits and setting) to make
an oral activity to perform
and differentiate good from
bad habits.
-Ss in groups of three
are going to create
their own stories
based on what they
watched on the
video.
Ss can see through
their own live
experiences at home
or with relatives and
create their own
moments. A student
can be seen as a
good habit and the
the bad habit.
This section of
the class will focus
Ss to create
critical thinking
and make some
reflections about
people’s
behaviors.
Homework
T is going to ask students
to do a reaction paper
about his good or bad
habits they used to have or
still have.
-Ss are going to finish
it up at home and
present the reaction
paper and read it
next class.
This section will
focus of following
correct grammar
structures and
increase
vocabulary based
on their
judgments.

Controlled Reading Practice (analyses the story – Characters and plot) 5 min -T is going to present a video. A short story about a boy and his uncle (BAD HABITS) T- is going to ask students to sit in pairs or in groups of three and discuss the questions. T- is going to write the questions on the board so students can follow the sequence of events. -Ss are going to express their feelings and tell what their parents nag them about their bad habits. - In pairs, or groups students walk around the class and exchange information with other groups and categorize the bad habits. Bad, worse and the worst. - This section of the class will enable Ss to test their speaking abilities.
  • 2. Expansion activity (Plot) 15 min -T is going to show what these inferences are important when it comes to a topic they know or nothing at all. T is going to give students pieces of information about the video and each part of a story (plot, character, traits and setting) to make an oral activity to perform and differentiate good from bad habits. -Ss in groups of three are going to create their own stories based on what they watched on the video. Ss can see through their own live experiences at home or with relatives and create their own moments. A student can be seen as a good habit and the the bad habit. This section of the class will focus Ss to create critical thinking and make some reflections about people’s behaviors. Homework T is going to ask students to do a reaction paper about his good or bad habits they used to have or still have. -Ss are going to finish it up at home and present the reaction paper and read it next class.
