This document discusses the past simple tense in English. It explains that there are two types of verbs: regular and irregular. For regular verbs, the past simple is formed by adding "-ed" to the infinitive. Irregular verbs do not follow a pattern and must be memorized. The past simple can be used in affirmative, negative and interrogative sentences. Examples are provided to illustrate how to conjugate verbs in the past simple tense.
