How to download the Bluefire Reader App on the iPad to Download eBooks. This is an alternative to not having an iPad specific Overdrive App.

4. First, download the bluefire Reader App from the App Store. Open the App.

5. Before you can use the App you will need to authorize it with your Adobe ID. Select “Authorize”.

6. Enter Adobe ID (email address) & PIN. Select “Continue”. (If you do not have an Adobe ID, select “Get Adobe ID”)

7. Select “OK”. The next step will be on your personal computer.

8. Starting with a book you have already checked out, select “Download”. (If need help with check out, see other presentations)

9. Select “OK” to open with Digital Editions. Then open iTunes & connect iPad to computer.

10. Select your iPad under DEVICES tab on left, and select the Apps tab at top of main iTunes window. Scroll down.

11. Select the Bluefire Reader in the left Apps column, then select the “Add” button at the bottom of the right column.

12. The popup window will show files in My Digital Editions folder. Select “The_Ask_and_the_Answer”. Select “Open”.

13. Notice The Ask and the Answer has been added to the documents file. Safely disconnect the iPad.

14. Open the Bluefire Reader App, and select the Library tab. You should see the eBook listed. Click on it.
