Technicolor Distribution Services (2001 – 2013)
Distribution Manager (2009 – 2013)
A wide ranging brief to develop and implement new streamlined solutions to operational tasks with buy in from
all key stakeholders and operators. Key Achievements included increasing the productivity within the Back
Catalogue by 100% and by 40 % within the New Release Campaign area. Year in year out the COP’s targets
were met within the budget without any overspend. My role included but was not limited to the following:
Direct reporting lines that put me at the head of all controllers, 100 FTE plus a daily changing number
of temporary staff up to a maximum of 650 per day.
Responsible for the wall to wall operational elements.
Liaising with the global Management team.
Training and developing staff, cross training staff to ensure succession planning is in place.
KPI reporting, planning and forecasting and maintaining a just in time service within tight deadlines
and working within budgetary limits.
Working in line with the company Quality Management System ISO9001 and the companies Health
and Safety policy.
Chaired regular meetings with my operational team to discuss performance, company policy,
implementing changes and continual improvement.
Conducted appraisals and disciplinary meetings when required.
Strong knowledge of thefinancials withinthe industry from costcontrol,to negotiating rates with customers
and suppliers – I had full autonomy over the rates operated at for my depot. I had control to make
commercial decisions in all aspects of customer relations.

Interests and Hobbies
In my spare time, I am an avid football supporter I am a Chairman for 14 local Football teams ranging from
under 8’s right through to adults, who all play either on a Saturday or a Sunday. My operational background
provides each team with the support it requires to fulfil their commitments. Finally as a family man I enjoy
travelling and socialising with my family and friends.
