2. Introduction To Painting
Painting is a hobby where you create different pieces of artwork. it's
just like drawing but using a thick element using a fine brush to make a
landscape. Using thousands of different colors, you can make anything
you like, e.g. a teddy bear, a rainbow, a car, a campervan. People have
practiced for years and have created beautiful masterpieces and the
paintings have gone on display in art gallery's. They have made lots of
advanced painting skills to make these wonderful landscapes. They
have used imagination to make; sunsets, flowers, fields and lots of
other imaginative ideas.
3. VINCENT VAN GOGH
Vincent Van Gogh was a very
careful man with his paintings. He
was the one who created
Sunflowers. He was Dutch and
was born on the 30 March 1853 in
Zundert, Netherlands. On 27 July
1890, aged 37, Van Gogh is
believed to have shot himself in
the chest with a revolver (a gun).

4. HENRI MATISSE
Matisse said he wished his
paintings to have "the lightness
and joyousness (synonym -
Cheerfullness) of spring time." He
was the one who created The
Snail. At age twenty he had an
illness so he started to study
shapes with an academic painter.
He was born in 1869 in Le Cateau,
France and died in 1954 in Nice,

5. PABLO PICASSO
Picasso is the most famous artist
of the twentieth century. He
created 13,500 paintings. He
continued making art until the day
he died. He was the one who
made The Old Guitarist. He was
born in 1881 in Málaga, Spain and
died in 1973 in Mougins, France.

6. WASSILY KANDINSKY
• Kandinsky was one of the first
painters to create purely
abstract art. He was the one to
make Squares with Concentric
Circles. He was born in 1866 in
Moscow and died in 1944 in
Neuilly-sur-seine, France.

7. LEONARDO DA VINCI
• Leonardo was an artist and
engineer. He was the one who
painted The Mona Lisa.
Leonardo was born in 1452 in
Vinci, Italy and died in 1519 in
Cloux, France.
