CSAs Present and future strategy
• The 5 learning areas are unpacked based on sub categories and
areas of intervention
• Comparing present and future, it is possible to see where the CSAs
are willing to invest their efforts and their learning needs
• Greater effectiveness and efforts are expected in all the 5 areas,
interesting to notice is interest in stronger governance, campaign
and social mobilization, data collection and sharing. Advocacy,
policy tracking and communication are currently and will keep
being CORE intervention areas.
• The following slides show the level of
involvement of the CSAs in the 5 macro-
learning areas identified by the LR project
based on CSAs requests (2015 surveys).

Macro-intervention areas in which CSA invest most of their time and budget.
1. Most of CSAs (8 out of 11) invest most of their time in adovocacy, social mobilization
and communication activities. All the CSA invest most of their budget in the
mentioned activities.
2. Strategic time is invested to MSP, with no significant budget investment.
3. Two CSAs out of 11 invest significative time and budget on GG.
4. There is no standard correlation between time and $ invested.
For example high time invested in MSP does not correspond to higher budget
