Panita has identified the performance contract used in Rwanda as a replicable innovation for enhancing accountability in Tanzania's district nutrition steering committees. The performance contracts were initiated in Kalambo district, and the Vice President has mandated all regional commissioners to adopt these contracts for nutrition plans. Additionally, the initiative has fostered sustainability awareness and emphasized the importance of gender equality in decision-making processes within the partnership for nutrition in Tanzania.
