1.Fabric controls
2. Cutting controls
3.Sewing controls
4. Finishing controls
1. Fabric controls
1. checking the mixing whether the slub is matching with the
yarn count
1. Checking whether the twist of yarn is compatible to slub.
2. To control twisting we should use lesser number of feeder
m/c (in 1” maximum feeders should be 3)
3. Always try to avoided bigger DIA machines because bigger
DIA will creates problem at finishing stage to adjust fabric
finishing parameters.
4. No need to add the slit line at knitting stage
Lesser feeder m/c (in 1” maximum
feeders should be 3)
DIA machines
1. Try avoid entanglement of fabric when fabric finishing
,dyeing and during slit open squeezing,
2. when fabric get to be opened slitting on the grain line should
be followed by the sensor
3. At finishing stage twisting can be controlled by Appling
raisin in washing but that can create harder hand feel on
the fabric and also shade will be getting lighter.
Avoiding entanglement of fabric
Appling raisin in washing
2. Cutting controls
1. marker should be drawn on the fabric,
2. when we layer the fabric we must maintain the slub horizontal
lines as much as straight. But there layer edge can be get angled
we should disregards this
3. when we draw the marker we can angle the vertical grain maximum
up 12 degree. in case by adjusting vertical grain up to maximum
angle position , still you have horizontal grain line issue you will
need to adjust horizontal line also up to some extend( max 5
degree)

We can angle the vertical grain
maximum up 12 degree
Horizontal line also up to some
extend( max 5 degree)
4. fabric must be prewashed
5. fabric should be relaxed
6. layer length should be maximum 2 to 3 mts
7. Do not pull or push the layer, let it be laid in relax manner
8. we need to maintain cutting accuracy.
9. layer height should be maximum 4”

3. Sewing controls
1. smooth machine setting in over lock specially for side seam
In Finishing we do not have much area to control
because all the proactive controls to be applied in
fabric and cutting stage
