  18. 18. 18 The In-flight Security Measures Profiling of Passengers by CREW • Everyone who steps aboard your airliner needs profiling in one way or another. • It is essential that you keep your mind open as you speak with passengers and other crewmembers. • Air rage incidents rarely begin „out of blue“. • Therefore, profiling must be practiced on a daily basis to become an effective weapon against terrorism. • The proper use of profiling could safe your life. • We have to be sure that we eliminate the stereotyping and prevent the process from gaining widespread use.
