To whom it may concern:
I am writing on behalf of The Ohio State University’s Nourish International
Chapter. Our group is a student run organization that seeks to help solve
problems caused by global poverty. Through our many ventures we earn money
to conduct sustainable development projects in underdeveloped communities
abroad. Over the summer, we implement these solutions by sending students
abroad to partner communities and allowing them to further our cause.
Our Ohio State Chapter traveled to Quillacollo, Bolivia in 2008 where we had the
opportunity to assist a community by building an orphanage. While working with
the community’s orphanage, Ohio State students taught 75 high-need Bolivian
children for 3 weeks.
We, at Nourish International, are passionate about the work we do and the
issues we address. Hunger Lunches are one of our main venture projects in
which we provide free lunch to Ohio State students and ask for donations in
return. Ventures are an important aspect of our organization and they cannot be
possible without your help. We are humbly asking your business to consider
supporting our mission by donating any amount of food.
Your generous donation can be publicly acknowledged at our event if provided
with promotional announcements and fliers. Nourish International is a 501©3
non-profit organization thus your donations will allow your business to file a tax
write-off. Your involvement with Nourish International’s Ohio State chapter will
allow our students body to become familiar with your business and its support
for our organization.
Thank you for your time and please consider being a part of our cross-cultural
solutions and sustainable development goals.
Sincerely,
