About The Foundation.... <ul><ul><li>This Foundation was founded with the goal to strengthen community wellness by providing services to people who are infected by HIV/AIDS and groups that are vulnerable </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>  We  identify deserving projects and aid them with funds for the benefit to those who the support is meant to reach </li></ul></ul>

Our Mission <ul><ul><li>to develop and strengthen the capacity of resource limited countries that are most affected by HIV/AIDS and other infectious diseases through the use of improved clinical quality standards and providing  </li></ul></ul><ul><li>     humanitarian services by building  </li></ul><ul><li>     sustainable development projects </li></ul><ul><ul><li>To assist those living in poverty by  </li></ul></ul><ul><li>     providing feeding programs and to  </li></ul><ul><li>     bring orphans into shelters and to  </li></ul><ul><li>     give them a proper education </li></ul>

Global Health Care Service <ul><ul><li>Global Health Care Service is a division that strives on strengthening community wellness by providing humanitarian services to people infected by HIV/AIDS and to prevent those that are vulnerable from contracting the disease </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Some of the activities that Global Health Care Services takes part on include back to school support, food baskets feeding programs, comedy in health care, emergency relief, medical health care assistance, orphan care, poverty, eradication class and empowerment programs. </li></ul></ul>

Inputs <ul><li>In order to accomplish these goals we have set a number of inputs in place that will help us reach our goals these include </li></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>A board of Advisers and a management team with a breadth of experiences which include 45 years of experience in clinical quality management and global public health care operations who will lead us in managing the goals </li></ul></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>  We organize awareness campaigns and events throughout the year in which we find sponsors that aid us in meeting our goals </li></ul></ul></ul>

Outputs <ul><ul><li>We focus on giving aid to those who are infected with HIV/AIDS and try to spread awareness of the disease to those who might be at risk </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>We help orphans that may of have lost their parents due to HIV/AIDS and provide shelter for them </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>We help children who are  </li></ul></ul><ul><li>     unfortunate and do not attend  </li></ul><ul><li>     school by providing them with  </li></ul><ul><li>     an education </li></ul><ul><ul><li>We aid those living in poverty  </li></ul></ul><ul><li>     by providing them with food  </li></ul><ul><li>     through our feeding programs </li></ul><ul><li>  </li></ul>

Process <ul><ul><li>We hold awareness campaigns to gain support from potential donors or sponsors </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>We look for Volunteers who are willing to lend a helping hand to the community; Volunteers in the past have included </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>Doctors, nurses, dentist, optometrists, laboratory personnel and laypersons </li></ul></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>We partner with corporations that side with our philosophy and we strive to improve the community </li></ul></ul>

Outcomes <ul><ul><li>We have given aid to many of those who are infected with HIV/AIDS </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>We have spread awareness to those who are at risk of contracting the disease </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>We have taken in Orphans who have lost their parents to HIV/AIDS and provide them with an Education and Shelter </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>We have Helped those in poverty and have provided them with food baskets </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>We have provided medical care assistance to those who are in most need of it </li></ul></ul>

Need in the Community <ul><ul><li>Their is an undeniable need for this foundation in the community, with millions affected with Disease, Living in Poverty, and Homeless in several parts of Africa we fell the need to help all those who are in need of it in order to improve the community </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>  With way over a 1,000,000 orphans living in the streets of Uganda alone we fell that it is our responsibility to shelter them and provide them with a decent education. If we do not do this then how else is the community going to prosper and change for the better </li></ul></ul><ul><li>  </li></ul>

Need in the Community (Continued) <ul><ul><li>With the majority of these communities living in poverty and struggling to find food for their families, it is important to provide food for these families </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Our foundation has helped and continues to help those that are in need </li></ul></ul>

How does this link to Critical Thinking? <ul><ul><li>This program promotes the use of critical thinking by getting people involved and by getting us to apply our own experiences of a time when we were in need of help and let that encourage us to support and help those that are in need </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>It also encourages us, the members and volunteers to explicate the depth of the problem and detail its solution </li></ul></ul>

How does this link to Critical Action? <ul><ul><li>We use Critical Action when we attempt to solve problems ; In this case it being helping those living with HIV/AIDS, and those who are less fortunate </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>  By helping the community we encourage them to do the same especially the youth by helping them go back to school were we teach them how to improve their critical thinking, critical action, and critical reading skills in a didactic manner. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>having the knowledge of these skills we hope they use them to gather information and to use skills in concert in order for them to contribute to their community and make it a better habitat. </li></ul></ul>

Shuttle Worth Foundation <ul><ul><li>I believe that The Shuttle Worth Foundation Would be very interested in our Foundation, due to the fact that they want to change the world for the better and they support education in Africa </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>The Shuttle Worth Foundations Philosophy revolves around positively changing the world and making it a better place to live in; Our philosophy is very similar and we believe that we can truly change the world if we were to help those who are in need and provide an education for them in order so they themselves have an opportunity to contribute to society </li></ul></ul><ul><li>  </li></ul>

  15. 15. Personal Connection to Non Profit <ul><li>We are very interested in what A Global Healthcare Public Foundation Inc is doing for the less fortunate. We would consider ourselves as very committed to what this foundation and its programs are doing because their efforts have helped the poor and improved the well being of those affected by HIV/AIDS. We believe that those infected with incurable illnesses need our help because no one should have to suffer. </li></ul><ul><li>It is important to help those less fortunate in our world, and by getting more people involved with these causes we can effectively change the conditions in which poor people are living. To take informed action and to solve these problems is what we believe can help these peoples lives </li></ul>

Audience Involvement (continued) <ul><li>If you would still like to help but can’t contribute financially then: 1.Go on a mission to help those afflicted with diseases and illness. 2.Volunteer in local charities or hospitals 3. Participate in a discourse with a volunteer or missionary work and ask them how you can help 4. Get involved and spread the Nonprofits goals and objectives </li></ul>

Artifact <ul><li>This artifact is the foundations logo,  </li></ul><ul><li>The logo represents all the foundation stands for </li></ul><ul><li>They take their work very seriously and use the  </li></ul><ul><li>logo as a representation of dedication to their  </li></ul><ul><li>work and that they are 100% committed to what they do and want to build a better community by helping those that are in need. </li></ul><ul><li>As you can see the logo means alot to them and they want it to symbolize that change is coming and a better future for the community is not far from reach </li></ul>
