 Projected 2009 WKCE scores with MAP Data

 2009-2010 Administered MAP test 3x:

Year 3
                              2010-2011

 This 2010 August data retreat was the first time we had an outside consultant come
to help us analyze our MAP data
 During this 3-day retreat Becky helped our staff go more in depth in analyzing past
WKCE data and make observations and hypotheses for math and reading
 Our staff also analyzed our MAP data and discussed trends and possible strategies
   for improvement
 Staff wrote reading and math goals for the 2010-2011 School Year
Year 3
                                   Continued

 Under Becky’s guidance our staff continued to analyze the data by strands and write
goals for the area with the most improvement need.

 In addition to writing data-based goals for reading and math, Becky facilitated the
creation of a grade-level unit action plan to assist in our goal achievement

 Students Grades 2-8 were tested in fall, winter, & spring of 2010-2011
Year 4
                                           2011-2012

 The MAP test was administered to grades K-8.
 The Terra Nova test was replaced with the MAP Primary Test in order to have more timely and in-depth data

 Data Meetings held after each testing period (Fall, Winter, Summer)
 Analyze data trends and how they correlate to action plans

 Descartes was explored more in depth to inform instruction

 More staff ownership of grade-level unit goals and action plans

 Data used to inform after-school tutoring program, math intervention period (RTI), special education, GT, etc
