  • The well organized veterinary services in any country suffer from Brucellosis is the main key for controlling this disease. Veterinarian with a good strategy and reasonable governmental support, can controll the disease within few years of hard work that can be reflet on the disease incidence in both humans and livestoks. The best example is Brucellosis controlling program in Iraq. It started in 2005 with the national surveillance to determin the incidence of the disease and then the vaccination campagines since 2006. The incidence has decllined from 27.2 / 100000 people to less than 19 /100000 people within 5 years.

  • Brucellosis (Malta Fever 1897) is a disease of animals.
  • Brucellosis: symptoms
    High fever (40 C) or (104 F).
    Headache, sweating, dizziness, enlargement of spleen for a (1 month-10 months).
    Serious fatal complications (Neurological, Cardiac)
  • Patent with Brucellosis:
    High fever, headache with sweating are main symptoms … But, diagnosis and treatment are available.
