5. WE HAVE A BRIGHT FUTURE
FUNDING
Growth Fund:
• Grants up to £80k for any activity provided it is new
and additional
• New job creations required (1 per £20,000 of grant)
• Private sector investment required – ideally £4 for each
£1 of grant sought.
• All expenditure must be incurred before the end of the
2014/15 financial year.

6. WE HAVE A BRIGHT FUTURE
Apprenticeships:
• AGE Grants for 16 -24 yrs of £1,500 up to 10 provided it is new and
additional.
• Funding recently extended to 2015/2016
• Government is committing an extra £20 million over 2 years to
support higher level apprenticeships – Part fund with the
employer.
Internships
• £500 from Uni and £500 from you for an 8 week part-time
internship
• £1,000 from Uni and £1,000 from you for an 8 week full-time
or 16 week part-time internship
• £1,500 from Uni and £1,500 from you for a 12 week full-time or
24 week part-time internship
