Major job responsibilities include:
Engagement planning based on understanding of the entity and assessment of business and related risks;
Preparation of financial statements for clients in accordance with the applicable financial reporting framework
including compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), local corporate laws and directives
of regulatory authorities;
Supervision, review and finalization of various engagements;
Coordination with team members (on-site and off-site) to define the extent and processes of engagement;
Consultation on significant matters with various professionals such as lawyers, tax advisors, actuaries and IT
experts;
Development and management of accounting processes/models and controls for the clients;
Troubleshooting/ resolution of queries related to accounting discrepancies and irregularities;
Co-ordinate with the external auditors on behalf of clients with respect to annual and half-yearly audits/ limited
scope reviews and other related certifications and
Provide basic advisory services to clients in respect of taxation, foreign currency remittances, accounting
treatment of transactions and compliance with secretarial practices.
