VOLUME
• Hover over the sound symbol.
• Click and slide the white bar to the left or right.
TURN OFF/ON 3D MODE
• click the gear shaped icon.
• Switch the 3D section to OFF.
REGULAR/FULLSCREEN MODE
• Click on the box shaped icon in the lower right
corner.
OR
• Click the gear shaped icon.
• Click on the bigger square in the “Player size”
category.
VIDEO QUALITY
• Click the gear shaped icon.
• Click the drop down arrow next to the “Quality”
category.
• Select you desired quality by clicking on it.

ANNOTATIONS (COMMENTS)
• Click the gear shaped icon.
• Click ON or OFF in the “Annotations” category.
TURN OFF CAPTIONS/SUBTITLES
• Click on the icon labeled “CC.”
• Click the OFF button.
TURN ON ENGLISH CAPTIONS/SUBTITLES
• Click on the icon labeled “CC.”
• Click the ON button.
English should be the default subtitle option.
TRANSLATED (NON-ENGLISH) CAPTIONS/SUBTITLES
• Click “Translate Captions” in the caption menu.
• A window will appear in the center of your video
with a list of language options.
• Click on the language of your choice.

WHAT DO I DO IF MY VOLUME
IS UP AND STILL DON’T HAVE
SOUND?
• Check your speakers/speaker connection.
• Make sure that your computer volume isn’t
muted.
• Check your headphone connection.
WHAT DO I DO IF MY VIDEO
ISN’T PLAYING?
• Give it a minute, your internet may be slower at
buffering/loading the video content.
• You might need to update your plug-ins, if this is
the case, a lego brick shaped icon will appear on
the video. All you need to do is click on the lego
and it will direct you to a website where you can
update the required plug-in.
HOW CAN I GET CAPTIONS OR
SUBTITLES ON MY VIDEO IF
THE “CC” ICON ISN’T
VISIBLE?
• If the “CC” button isn’t visible, there is not a
subtitle option for the video.
HOW DO I REMOVE POP-UP
BUBBLES FROM MY VIDEO?
• YouTube doesn’t offer this option with every
video, but if it does offer it you will see a quote
bubble icon to the left of the “Watch Later”
button.
