And what do we do? The Council provide support for all types of research across all disciplines. We run competitive funding schemes for researchers engaging in masters, PhD, and postdoctoral degrees, and also support research projects, networking and travel proposals.

Through our suite of Enterprise Programmes the Council has worked with over 200 companies/organisationsOur definition of an Enterprise Partner is very wide including not only companies but also not-for-profit organisations, registered charities, non-governmental bodies, cultural organisations, public organisations/bodies etc. This is something that we’ll be actively working to promote this year.Both SMEs and MNC participate in our SchemesValue of programmes is the long-term investment in an individual, whose career the Enterprise Partner will follow or be involved directly in (future employee, further collaborations, research outputs of interest to the Enterprise Partner). HERA – Humanities network & we currently are the handling agency for the “HERA ‘Cultural Encounters’ Programme and will participate in the development of a proposal for the new JRP ‘‘Uses of the Past’ Call in H2020 SC 6.
