  • HermanPeeren Herman Peeren , Software Developer at Yepr YW, but this is from last year. In the mean time several new things have occurred with webservices and Joomla!, for example:

    * TechJoomla has a REST-API for Joomla: http://techjoomla.com/joomla-extension-news/joomla-rest-api.html

    * look at Seblod 2 for a SOAP-webservice!

    Please let me know if you have your app done; I'm curious!

  • HermanPeeren Herman Peeren , Software Developer at Yepr I'm working on authentication and authorization first. Want to make it as general as possible, so it can be used for various flavours of webservices and also with Nooku. I'll provide good documentation. Keep you posted.

    Unfortunately other priorities are fighting for the first place on my TODO-list all the time.

    If you want to see a nice example of an XMLRPC-webservice in Joomla! 1.5: look at Akeeba Backup Remote Control.

  • taracila taracila Hello Herman! That is really good slide about connecting joomla! I'm trying to find any practical/examples information about integration joomla with web services. Can you help me with any information that can give me a hint to do it.

    Thanks.
