2. Safety Glasses and Masks
When using any of the Tools within the work
Room you have to wear this protection at all
times, as Health and Safety is taken very
seriously.
3. Circular Saw
When building the flats I had to use the Circular
Saw. There were many different Health and safety
Procedures I had to follow For example I had to
wear Safety glasses and a mask to prevent dust.
Also another way that this was prevented was by
the vacuum on the back of the Circular saw. There is
a safety catch and guard on the handle of the saw
to prevent any amputations.
4. Circular Saw
The Circular saw is bolted on the top of this stand
so when where are cutting long pieces of wood
they are stable.
5. Work bench
When using the work bench we used a clamp
so the wood was stable and when cutting wood
it would not fall off.
6. Tallascope
When using the Tallascope you must use
the stabilizers and put the brakes on the
ladders as this is a health and safety issue.
When at the top of the Tallascope you
need to put the bar across the cage as we
work at a great height.
