In this presentation we are only going to
discuss three drug prescription called
Antibiotics, bronchodilator and
mucolystic.
4. Antibiotics is one of the most frequently
prescribed medications that is used in
the modern world.
Antibiotics cures diseases by injuring and
destroying all the bacteria that cause
the certain disease.
The first antibiotic that was invented was
penicillin.
Antibiotics also kills bacteria that cause
respiratory infections within the body.
5. Weakness
Antibiotics only treats bacterial infection.
Antibiotics do not work on viral infection
such as common cold and also fungal
infections like ringworm and many more.

6. Bronchodilators are medications that relax the
bronchial muscles which makes the airway
larger and allows air to pass through the lungs.
Bronchodilator is also used to treat asthma.
Bronchodilators are important for treating
symptom such as breathlessness, cough and
also sputum production.
Bronchodilator can be grouped by either how
long they work which is a short and long acting
drugs or how they widen or dilate the airways
For example beta-agonists, anticholinergics or
theophyllines.
7. Weakness
bronchodilators can cause more problems if you have :

overactive thyroid
high blood pressure

8. Mucolytic liquefies the mucus so that it

hailed form which is given by a nebulizer.
