physicians, dentists and others.
 Example of a drug prescriptions are
hyrdocodone, generic zocor, linsinopril,
amoxicillin and many other more
 In this presentation we are only going to
discuss three drug prescription called
Antibiotics, bronchodilator and
mucolystic.

4.  Antibiotics is one of the most frequently
prescribed medications that is used in
the modern world.
 Antibiotics cures diseases by injuring and
destroying all the bacteria that cause
the certain disease.
 The first antibiotic that was invented was
penicillin.
 Antibiotics also kills bacteria that cause
respiratory infections within the body.

5. Weakness
 Antibiotics only treats bacterial infection.
 Antibiotics do not work on viral infection
such as common cold and also fungal
infections like ringworm and many more.

6.  Bronchodilators are medications that relax the
bronchial muscles which makes the airway
larger and allows air to pass through the lungs.
 Bronchodilator is also used to treat asthma.
 Bronchodilators are important for treating
symptom such as breathlessness, cough and
also sputum production.
 Bronchodilator can be grouped by either how
long they work which is a short and long acting
drugs or how they widen or dilate the airways
For example beta-agonists, anticholinergics or
theophyllines.

7. Weakness
bronchodilators can cause more problems if you have :
cardiovascular disease
diabetes
overactive thyroid
high blood pressure

8.  Mucolytic liquefies the mucus so that it
would be easy to clear it out of your
respiratory tract by coughing it out by

hailed form which is given by a nebulizer.
