My only quibble would be with #6. I do believe in the Big Funnel, because it speaks to the overall goal. You can't move the bottom line if you don't bring people to *do* something.
But there is something to be said for being a credible voice, and often referring people to a resource (or even a competitor) that is better-suited increases the likelihood they will trust and recommend you for the things you do well.
