Managing North-Gujarat Region of Gujarat Vodafone India 2G/3G Network with Nokia Siemens
Networks
Leading a team of 27 members that includes Project Coordinator, BSS Engineers, Project Engineer
and BSS Technicians.
Heading all Operation & Maintenance activities for 1200 2G and 560 3G cell sites, 22 BSCs and 2
RNC which includes Fault Management of RNC, BSC, BTSs, Transmission MUX and PDH/SDH/Packet
radio Transmission & Power Supply Systems.
Responsible for 2G/3G/Packet Radio/CEN Deployment in Cluster—successfully managed the
Deployment (Installation, Commissioning, Integration, Acceptance Test, EMF Survey, Site Folder,
Monthly Signoff with Customer/Vendor and Data submission to Corporate teams)of 1200 2G sites,
560 3G sites, 62 Packet Radio Rings (Huawei and FPR), 15 CEN Routers in Network.
Responsible for Quality assurance of any new 2G/3G sites, Transmission Network (SDH/DWDM/CEN)
Deployments.
Handling Transmission Network of entire region which include CEN Project and Operation of
SDH(STM1,4,16,64), DWDM(1G,10G,100G), CEN networks.
Monitoring the Infra & TI readiness & ensuring Outsourced Teams / Resources / Vendors achieve the
monthly targeted Project Rollout of new 2G/3G Cell sites, BSC/RNC & CISCO CEN (Carrier Ethernet
Network) for the region.
Responsible for Implementation, Cross check and Improvement of Safety Guidelines (HSW Policy of
Vodafone and OHS Policy of NSN) across Cluster.
Responsible for submission of Monthly Data of Safety such as Risk Assessment Form, Permit to Work
tracker, High/Medium/Low Risk sites, OHS Refusal work details to Central Team.
Implementing RF capacity addition plan & TX optimization plan for the cluster as per the monthly
target.
Conducting Monthly network review meeting with Business Team of the customer for their business
need & issues regarding the network and ensuring Customer Satisfactions
Follow the operational detailed time schedule for concerned activity within the contractual schedule
within the guidelines of the contract to be followed-up during the entire project implementation
phase.
Arranging MoP HW/SW Installation/Upgrade and Process Guideline for Network Operation Team.
Monitoring the Network Performance & Improving it as per Objective & Keeping Quality of Services
to Optimum level.
Daily check the all KPI for bad WP Cells for Quality Issue, HOSR, and Completion/Assignment also.
Taking care of congetion & Blocking Cells either by adding new carrier to the cells or by adding new
sites after Location hot spot areas.
Implement measures for improvement of Uptime & MTTR, reduce Opex and Increase the life of OFC
Network and site infrastructure.

Working as a Packet Data SPOC of VODAFONE Gujarat Circle since Feb-2012.
Managing GPRS/EDGE Data Network of Vodafone Gujarat Circle.
Co-Ordination with Vodafone Core (Ericsson SGSN) Team for troubleshooting of any critical Data
Link issues.
Providing L1 Technical Support of 2G/UMTS Radio Access Networks and FPR (Flexi Packet Radio) to

Configuring the new L2 Cisco switch needed to shift the Nokia 2i BSC from FR to GB over IP.

point in front of the customer for solving all technical anomalies arising from the equipment or

Assignment Failure, SDCCH failure, HO issues)
Analyzing Reporting suites report to meet KPI’s (NQI’s) which include Rx quality of UL/DL, Rx Level
