Swarms
If you are not already a member of a local beekeeping club, we encourage you to become a member. For
more information on the benefits of becoming a member of the Luxembourg Canton Beekeeping Club (LCBC,
Beieveräin Kanton Luxemburg), please consult this document. One of the benefits is that LCBC hold meetings
on the first Thursday of the month where members meet and have the opportunity to ask questions and
exchange ideas with other members. Another benefit is to be added to the beekeeping federation‘s
(Fédération des Unions d'Apiculteurs du Luxembourg, FUAL) list of people to be contacted when there is a
swarm (swarm contact list). If you would like to be added to the list of people to be contacted when there is a
swarm, please contact Mr. Pitt Poeker secretaire@apis.lu.
