1. Nonprofit Organization BuildUP! People, Inc. Relocates to Greensboro, NC
BuildUP! People, Inc. (www.jackiemasonministries.org) has relocated from Rocky Mount,
NC to the Triad area in search of partnerships that will allow them to produce
Empowerment Sessions for women. The organization has been in existence since 2004
and started over 16 years ago as a prison ministry. The organization is comprised
of sound biblical teaching via a direct instructional model involving high energy
faith activations & encouragement tools.
Founder Jackie Mason has transformed this prison ministry into a viable 501 (c)(3)
educational & empowerment entity that strongly believes, " all individuals have the ability
to become self-directed achievers by learning the power of developing self-esteem &
motivational skills for every area of life". BuildUp! is currently in search of opportunities
to work with women's groups, retreats, conventions, school systems, group homes, prison
systems, churches, human service agencies, etc. The organization has missions of working
to build professional training solutions that; Build Knowledge, Build Character, Build
Strengths, Build Relationships, and Build Better Communities.
To enhance the reach of BuildUP! Jackie Mason is looking for local Board Members,
volunteers, office space to house the organization in the Triad, and donations from
philanthropists in the community. Moving to a new are brings a host of possibilities and
the Triad has already proven to be a great area for growth. Interested parties that would
