2. Poster Feedback
When asking for feedback I asked people
online and in real. This helped me make
my magazine look professional and a lot
better than it did when I first produced it.
Everyone I showed recognized it was a
Horror movie, and could identify it’s sub
genre which is talker slasher. However
some people suggested I change the
placement of the title and image by making
it more centred. I took this feedback in to
context and worked it in to my next draft.
When I asked again for feedback from the
same people, they agreed that it looked a
lot more professional. The audience
feedback overall was great help as the
people I was asking were initially my target
audience, which was who I was targeting
the movie at. Hearing their opinions
allowed me to convey the ‘slasher’ theme
across.
3. Magazine
Feedback
I did the same thing I did for my
poster feedback I asked
people in real life as well as
online. I got a lot of feedback
on this cover as at first some
of the spacing was unequal
giving the magazine an
unreal look. So when drafting
I changed that and made
sure that everything was
aligned. People thought the
headlines were a bit too
much, but in a good way as
they said it enticed them to
read it as well as making it
look like a real film magazine.
4. Trailer Feedback
For our trailer, we showed a various amount of people who
would be our target audience. This helped a lot as some
of the feedback we got said that we needed the scenes to
more gory and bloody, we then took this in to context and
re-filmed some scenes adding aspects like fake blood and
bruises. Also we got some feedback on sound, which was
to make it sound more scarier and eerie. This overall
made our trailer seem a lot more professional and
conventional to the genre we wanted to portray across
through to our audience. When the changes were made
people said they were quite scared which is what a horror
movie is supposed to make you feel like.
