Slovak folklore is music, dances clothing and traditions of various Slovak regions.

Slovak kitchen is historical known for pork, lamb meat, potatoes, cabbage and milk
products. Typical slovak soups are kapustnica ( soup from sour cabbage), lentil and bean
soup and demikát (it´s soup from sheep cheese).

Typical for Slovakia is bryndzové halušky. It´s potato dumplings with sheep cheese and
bacon. Rice pudding, potato pancakes, fried cheese with chips and much more are tasty.

Salty is korbáčiky ( it´s cheese strings)
and sweet is steamed buns ( it´s stuffed dough with fruit and usually sprinkled with poppy
seeds)
10. Christmas is special in Slovakia and we have also typical food
Typical soup is kapustnica and lentil and bean soup, main food is potato salad and fried carp.
And the second food is bobále ( it´s rolls with milk and poppy). Sounds weird but it´s very
tasty :)
