• Self-esteem is a term in psychology to
reflect a person's overall evaluation
or appraisal of her or his own worth.
• In other words, it is how we see
ourselves . It is a collection of our
self-beliefs or feelings.

• Self-esteem is not something we
are born with.
• It is something that we learn from
the environment we grow up in.
• his includes our parents, peers and
everyone we connect with in our
community.

very young age.
