To Whom it May Concern,
I am writing to strongly recommend William Berg for your job opening. I became acquainted
with Will when he joined my Social Psychology course. He also took part in my Research
Design and Analysis class where he then served as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant. During
this time, he has continually impressed me with his dedication, ability to learn quickly, execute
tasks carefully and efficiently, and work well independently as well as with a team.
As stated previously, Will was also a student in my Research Design and Analysis course.
Although this class had a somewhat large enrollment (about 45 students), Will distinguished
himself through his dedication to mastering the material, and improving his performance. In
addition, he showed considerable initiative by attending my office hours to ask questions and to
review his exams.
At a personal level, Will was a well-disciplined, hard-working, and conscientious student with a
very positive attitude. Will was consistently involved in generating interesting discussion during
class, articulating his questions and ideas clearly and with purpose. More generally, it’s clear that
he enjoys learning new things and mastering things fully.
Will is an exceptional candidate for your job opening. His work in my courses indicates that he is
dependable and capable of working independently and with a team, ensuring that all tasks are
completed to the best of his ability. I therefore highly recommend William Berg.
If I can be of any further assistance or can provide you with any additional information, please
contact me.
Sincerely
Tonya Buchanan, Ph.D.
