3. Definition of Parenting courses (Classes)
Parenting courses (Classes) are educational courses that
teach parents general parenting skills, and help them
develop and maintain positive relationships with their
children.

parenting courses
1- Master the Basics:
Parenting Courses can help parents learn more about what to expect in the
coming years and prepare for each developmental stage.
2- Improves child behavior :
Children of parents who participate in parenting education programs often
demonstrate increases in their pro social behaviors, and decreases in
negative externalizing behaviors.

3- Relationship management:
Classes can also teach parents how to engage meaningfully with their child at
every age and stage.
4- Improves parental mental health and well-being:
Parents may also experience short-term improvements in mental health,
including a decrease in depression. Anxiety, anger, guilt, and stress.

6. Recommendations:
1-We recommend for any literacy should read or know about parenting
courses.
2-Parents Need help, must get parents information in the classes or courses.
3-In Kurdistan not have any courses and classes to improve parenting, I haven’t
heard about that, just I see some kid’s educational videos. we need more these
videos and open courses about parenting .
4-Kurdish Government must help the educational centers to open classes
(courses) about parenting.
