Idealism is the metaphysical and epistemological doctrine that
ideas or thought make up fundamental reality. Essentially, it is
any philosophy which argues that the only thing actually
knowable is the consciousness (or the contents of
consciousness), whereas we can never be sure that matter or
anything in the outside world really exists. Thus, the only real
things are mental entities, not physical things (which exist only in
the sense that they are perceived.

 According to Froebel, the school is a garden. The teacher is the cautious
gardener and the child is a tender plant.
 School is a place where the capacities of logical thinking, reasoning, and
evaluating of the child are progressively sublimated and develop by
teachers and the school environment.

rote, memorization and assigned reading. Learners
listen to the instruction of the teacher and perform
individual task.
