2. List of Important Projects Handled at Axiom:
Project: ECG Device (For leaders in health care equipment sector based in India)
Evaluation of structural integrity of the device under different drop conditions like Corner drop, Face drop and
few other orientations from a height of 49 inches onto a Rigid floor.
Critical regions where stress was exceeding the yield value was observed and reported.
Project: Motorized floor cleaner (For a leading FMCG company based in Cincinnati(USA))
Edge impact tests were carried out to check the structural characteristics of the component when hit by a wedge.
Drop test from a height of 1.2m were carried out to check the structural stability of the bottle.
Stresses observed were within yield limit and thus the design was said to be correct.

Project: Snapping mechanism analysis (For a leading electrical company based in Saudi)
A snapping analysis was carried to check the structural stability of the panels at snapping region.
Force vs displacement graph was plotted to evaluate the forces in snapping region.

Project: Top load and squeeze analysis of bottle (For a leading fmcg company)
Top load and squeeze analysis was carried out on the various specimen provided by the client.
Max. load which the various specimen can withstand before buckling was evaluated and the specimen with
highest load bearing capacity was recommended to client.

Project: Product development of cap and bottle assembly for leading pharmaceutical and
healthcare company
Cap-flip top snap in and snap out simulations were done to find out the force and sealing pressure in the proposed
cad model. Certain design changes in sealing region and snapping region were suggested to cad team.
Cap-bottle assembly snap in and snap out simulations were carried out to know the snap in force.
Vacuum and drop tests were done at various vertical angles to test the structural stability of the package.
After many simulation iterations final design was suggested to the cad team.
Project: Thermal Analysis in Optistruct
Performing linear transient heat transfer analysis on Pan used in Commercial Ovens.
Time taken for heating(convective and conductive heat transfer) the complete surface of Pan was calculated.
Temperature distribution pattern at various time intervals were observed.
3. Project: Coupled linear heat transfer/structural analysis (Optistruct)
Performing heat transfer/structural analysis on tea making machine.
Stresses developed due to thermal expansion of jar was measured
Various insulator designs with different designs were iterated to keep the stress values low.
Project: Structural analysis of 3-wheeler transportation Frame (Optistruct)
Frame was subjected to gravity loading along with the load of vehicle.
Modal Analysis was also carried out on frame structure.
Structural rigidity of the frame was thus evaluated along with deriving the modal shapes and natural frequency.

Automated Abaqus deck set up using an inbuilt company customized tool.
The structural integrity of the components was evaluated by carrying out top load and side squeeze tests.
